World War II Alaska

Fighter and Bomber Squadrons

Welcome to the World War Two section of Aviation in Alaska.  It would be a mistake not to include the flying organizations that served in Alaska during the war.  The Fighter and bombers squadrons will be added first, followed by other organizations.  The official unit histories from the war period will be used as source material.

If you have any information on a family member that served in aviation in Alaska during the war period please contact the webmaster at mark@www.aero49.com
